Day 1: Accra and Vicinity
Stop At: Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's Mausoleum, Central Accra, Accra Ghana
ACCRA AND VICINITY.
Visit the W.E.B. DuBois former home , now a museum and Center for the study of Pan Africanism.
Pass by the USA embassy in Ghana , drive through Flagstaff House, official residence and administrative offices of the president (Ghana’s Whitehouse).
Drive past the Independence Square on the way to visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
Tour of Historic James Town—one of Accra’s most historic neighborhoods, where history resides on every corner. Best known for its lighthouses (the first of which was constructed in 1875 by the British) as a navigational aid for trading vessels sailing through the Gulf of Guinea. The original structure was ruined; however, a larger and more improved lighthouse completed in 1921 is still functioning today. James Town is also known as Ghana’s boxing incubator, the home of Africa’s most accomplished boxer, Azumah Nelson.

Day 2: Kakum National Park
Stop At: Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Ghana
Morning depart to the coast of Ghana, Visit an extravagant Posuban shrine in Mankessim before arriving in Kakum National Park, which has one of Africa’s famous rainforest canopy walkways. This tropical rainforest and the canopy walkway are sure to be one of the highlights of your time in Ghana. The walkway consists of a series of 7 bridges, attached to 7 emerging trees, 40 meters above the rainforest floor. Prepare to take a deep breath as you walk the suspended bridges. You will marvel at the breathtaking views that stretch for miles across the rainforest as you rest on the tree platforms.

Day 3: Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, Cultural Performance
Stop At: Cape Coast Castle, Cape Coast Ghana
Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle ( At George Fort). Culture Performance.
Tour the former slave fort and U.N World Heritage Site of Cape Coast Castle. A special ceremony ( Extra fee ).
Continue to Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy the even at Akumapa Village Cultural performance.

Day 4: Assin Manso Ancestral Slave Graveyard and Slave River
Stop At: Ancestral Slave River Park, Assin Manso Ghana
Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River, Slave Market and Slave Cemetery.
Morning depart to the Ancestral Graveyard, Assin Manso, Ghana. Ancestral graves where the mortal remains of two enslaved Africans, Madam Crystal from Jamaica and Samuel Carson from the United States of America were re-interred in 1998. You will also see where the slave took their last bath before taking to the Market, and the market is also just about 5 minutes walk from the graveyard.

Stop At: Manhyia Palace Museum, Off Antoa Rd, Kumasi Ghana
Kumasi City Tour, Ashanti Craft Villages.
Visit the National Cultural Center , one of Ghana’s best museums.
Continue to the Komfo Anokye Sword Center
Visit the Home of the Ashanti King, Manhyia Palace and Museum.
visit a number of villages showcasing traditional Asante handcrafts: Kente cloth weaving, Adinkra cloth stamping, wood carving.

Day 6: Glass Beads Factory and Tafi Atomey Mona Monkeys Sanctuary
Stop At: Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, Tafi Atome Ghana
Bead Factory, Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary.
Early morning drive to a glass bead workshop near the Volta River to learn this interesting handcraft Beads.
Continue to monkey sanctuary at Tafi Atome in the Volta Region for fun with habituated Mona monkeys.

Day 7: Mount Gemi and Wli WaterFalls
Stop At: Wli Waterfalls, Hohoe Ghana
Mountain Gemi, WLI WATERFALLS,
Mount Gemi is one of the tallest mountains in all of Ghana. As the nearby town of Amedzofe is already very high in altitude, the peak of the mountain is actually a short climb from town. At the very peak of the mountain is a tall cross made of iron erected by German missionaries in 1939. Attached on the cross is the remnant of a communication antenna used by the Germans during World War II.
Continue a 45 minutes Easy hike to the Ghana’s highest waterfalls. Wli Waterfalls is the highest waterfall in Ghana and the tallest in West Africa. It has a lower and an upper fall. also called Agumatsa Falls, is a popular and dramatic tourist site near the village of Wli.

Day 8: Shai Hills Resource Reserve and Airport Drop off.
Stop At: Shai Hills Resource Reserve, Akosombo-Tema Rd Ghana
Shai Hills Antelopes, Monkeys, Carve and Rock.
Shai Hills Resource Reserve is a resource reserve located in Doryumu in the Shai Osudoku District all in the Greater Accra Region. It was established in 1962 with area of 47 square kilometres which was later extended to 51 square kilometres in 1973.
Drop off at airport 2 hours before your flight.
