About this activity

This is a full day trip to Petra : You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and depart from Amman via the desert highway to Petra. Pass by the marvelous Siq that continues to the treasury, then go towards the theater. You'll then advance to the monastery which is beautifully carved, though much less decorated than the treasury, and so huge that the doorway alone is several stories tall.

One of the most interesting sites you should visit is the Place of Sacrifice, where you can walk between the hills passing the 1,050 stairs to reach that site before heading back to Amman in the afternoon.

This is a five star trip due to the professional and outstanding driver/guide Mustapha. The site itself is on everyone's bucket list so automatically rates highly however, Mustapha helped make the visit exceed all expectations. He is knowledgeable, professional and patient beyond belief when dealing with out of condition, slow yes overweight aka me and exhausted guests. Mustapha's enthusiasm for helping you get the most from your time is unlimited and I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone who want a 5 star guide.
