About this activity
Board the double-decker bus at any of the 11 stops around the city. Your hop-on hop-off sightseeing ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of first use.
As you cruise through Amsterdam, enjoy informative audio commentary about the sights, hopping on and off the bus as you wish to explore by foot. Visit Vondelpark, Western Market, Albert Cuyp Market, the Anne Frank House and the Jewish Historical Museum (own expense).
Take your time wandering along the UNESCO World Heritage-listed canals, admiring the Golden Age architecture, and venturing through neighborhoods like Jordaan and the historical Red Light District. You can even take a tour of the Heineken brewery.
Take a break from sightseeing and enjoy skip-the-line entrance to the Body Worlds exhibit, a world-famous traveling exhibition now with a permanent location in the heart of Amsterdam.
Get a fascinating look at the complexities, strengths and vulnerabilities of human anatomy and physiology as you explore the exhibit independently. Creator Dr Gunther von Hagens used a technique called plastination to preserve and display specimens of real human bodies, giving you an inside-out look at how our bodies function. Worldwide, the Body Worlds exhibitions have drawn more than 40 million visitors, making it one of the most popular traveling exhibitions in the world.
Quite fitting for the Dutch — who are considered among the happiest people in the world — this Amsterdam exhibit explores the relation between human anatomy and the emotional phenomenon of happiness. How does happiness affect our health, and our bodies? If we’re happy, will we live longer? You’ll find answers to all these questions and more.
You are welcome to continue your hop-on hop-on tour after your Body Worlds visit.

Bus tour was the best way to work out what to make a point of first Just the idiot on the door at bodyworks not letting me in because I only had an hour and 15 to do it 1st world issues
3rd time really enjoyed it both my wife and me
The body worlds entrance ticket was fine. It was a skip the line but there was no line so it was OK. I do not recommend the ho ho bus at this time.it provided practically no city information, Was difficult to get to, and I found the city trams to be much more efficient and easy to use.
If you're not in healthcare, this is a great display of disease processes and anatomy. If you are in healthcare, and think you've probably seen all of this, there's a great twist on the how the body experiences happiness which is good, and there are also things that you won't have seen before.
Tour was great - when we could get on the bus! Massive queue at Central Station to board bus, in the end we gave up and caught the tram. Body Worlds was interesting, informative and different to most other museums, it was easy to find and definitely worth a visit.
Body worlds outstanding. Bus tour very hot!!!! No air conditioning!
Body works = Amazing Hop on hop off tour = waste of time and money ( too slow, windows foggy, no cooling in bus when all had jackets on for rainy weather ... Got on bus, got off 2 stops later... Dissapointing)
