The Heineken Experience was good fun, you came away knowing how the beer is made as they told you several times using different communication methods and approaches which was really quite clever. There were a lot of gimmicks - big video screens, touch sensitive music or image manipulation which really brought nothing to the tour but overall the experience was good. The canal trip does not go from opposite the factory on this tour so be prepared for a tram ride to the main station area and on this occasion a long queue although it moved quickly and we were on the boat in about 35 minutes. The boat trip was very interesting and a welcome break from walking around the city.
