Every winter, Amsterdam steals Paris's thunder and becomes its very own 'City of Lights'. The Amsterdam Light Festival invites high-profile artists from all over the world to create dazzling light sculptures, which bring the iconic canals to glittering life. This cruise is developed in partnership with the festival to offer the best possible experience of the city-wide installation!
From 30 November to 21 January, a team of international artists is collaborating to show you Amsterdam in a whole new light. This year's theme is Existential , exploring the ways in which humans are connected and brought together through the power of light!
Major artists and activists such as Ai WeiWei have designed and produced over 35 artworks which adorn Amsterdam's beautiful canals and transform the city into a glittering dreamworld. This cruise sets off from Leidsekade and journeys around every illuminated sculpture in town.
