This afternoon excursion starts at the well preserved ‘royal’ town of Delft that became world famous because of the ceramic industry. As early as the 17th century, Delft had strong trade connections with China, which explained the enormous number of ceramic factories by that time. Only a few are still in existence, and of course we will visit one of them. After a short photo stop in the beautiful town centre of Delft, we will continue to The Hague, the home of the Dutch government. During an extensive city tour, you will pass the Houses of Parliament and the Peace Palace, visit Madurodam park and see many other interesting sites.
