This is the first time that art "came alive" for my husband. Thanks to Helena who was patient and knowledgeable - she also kept us on track since we both were looking at ALL the beautiful art. She already had our tickets so we skipped that line and just headed in - I'd go again.
The private Rijksmuseum tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide Miro was a wonderful and informative guide, and also very knowledgeable, as she is an art historian. There were only two of us on the tour, so when it says private tour, it is no exaggeration. Miro outlined the general history of the museum, and then started us on a wonderful historical trip through the museum. The fact that the tour started early, and Miro's clever timing ensured that we were able to see the masterpieces with an unobstructed view. This tour gets five stars from us, and will remain as a highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. Thank you Miro!
