Meet a driver at your hotel for 7am departure, then follow the Taurus mountain chain to the city of Denizli, where you’ll pause for breakfast at a family-run road house (own expense).

Upon arrival in Hierapolis, join a guide for a sightseeing tour of the ancient health resort, passing Roman baths, a basilica, gymnasium, and a street lined with well-preserved columns. See where ancient people gathered in a renovated theater on a hill, then enjoy some free time to keep exploring on your own—that’s plenty of time to visit the sarcophagi in Hierapolis’ ancient necropolis.

The next stop is Pamukkale, a white landscape of travertine pools that are ideal for soaking. Soothe sore muscles and soften skin in 95-degree (35-degrees Celsius) pools. If desired, experience the bubbles in the Cleopatra Pools (own expense).

Following your time at Hierapolis and Pamukkale, recharge your batteries with a buffet lunch, then visit a leather goods center to browse locally-made souvenirs. This full-day tour concludes with the drive back through the Taurus mountains, and drop-off at your hotel in Antalya.
