About this activity

Be transferred from Yerevan to Sevan lake. Sevan Lake is your first stop and is on the Sevan peninsula with Sevanavank. Enjoy a fantastic view of the "Blue Queen" of Armenia. The moving onto Tsaghkadzor, the valley of flowers. Here you will take the rope way up to the mount. After a short walk enjoy tea or coffee with the fresh air of Mount Teghenis. Afterwards move back to Kecharis Monastery. Lunch is not included but can be arranged in Sevan. The restaurants in Sevan lake are famous for fish (Ishkhan or trout) or in Tsaghkadzor in a local restaurant. You will then be transferred back to Yerevan.

This was my favourite tour because it was just my friend and I, with a guide and driver. Our guide was exceptional, she spoke excellent English and knew so much about the places we visited. The lake and monastery were stunning, especially since everything was snow-covered... real picture-postcard scenery! The mountains are so beautiful and the cable car allows great views. The second monastery is also fascinating. I recommend this trip! Only downside... I was worried about our guide not wearing a seatbelt the whole journey... I should have said something but was too British about it. So much safer for everyone in the vehicle if everyone is strapped in!

Pick up in Time, very informative and pleasant guide. Just one notice : the restaurant selected for lunch had beautiful view on the lake , but very poor cuisine.
