Drive to holly city Echmiadzin. Here is situated Holy Mother Cathedral of Armenian Apostolic Church and it is considered to be the oldest one in the world. The Cathedral was built in the early 4th century and was the seat of the head of the church - Catholicos. The cathedral was listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. The cathedral, built in 480, is located in a walled compound with gardens and various structures. The word "Echmiadzin" means “The coming of the only-begotten”.

It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other nearby churches, including Ejmiadzin Cathedral, Armenia's mother church, in 2000. Also visit St. Gayane Church that was also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage in 2000.
