About this activity
Your full-day tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Yerevan. From there, you'll be driven Aragatsotn Province through the village Artashavan.
The first stop will be at the unique Armenian Alphabet Monument which consists 39 giant stone letters dedicated to the Armenian Alphabet.
After this visit, the tour heads to the 7 centuries Amberd Fortress, where near this fortress you will see 11th-century Vahramashen Church. You will continue up to the four-peaked volcano of Aragats, where you will be able to descend to the Kari Lake with 3,185 m above the sea level inside the crater, or just walk around the edge if you prefer. Enjoy lunch (optional), and gaze in awe at the most beautiful landscapes in Armenian's highlands, dotted with indigenous flowers.
Finally, you will be returned to your accommodation in Yerevan.
