Itinerary

Stop At: Shaki Waterfall, Sisian Armenia
Passing through the Vayots Dzor marz, we will stop in Syunik Marz, a 18-meter-high waterfall of Shaki. It is a breathtakingly beautiful place to visit and admire.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Tatev Monastery, Tatev Armenia
The jewel of medieval Armenian architecture, Tatev, was constructed in the 9th-13th centuries. In the past, Tatev was difficult to reach, because the winding road had to descend the steep walls of a gorge, and cross a river on the Devil’s Bridge, but now Tatev is easily accessible by the world’s longest reversible cable car.
Silently floating over the surrounding mountains, Tatev Monastery is very impressive. The labyrinths of the narrow passages leading from spacious halls to other premises of unidentified purposes, the outlines of niches showing through the darkness, stone staircases, and arched doorways to nowhere give visitors plenty to explore. Standing on the edge of it takes your breath away - somewhere down below the river flows and crowded velvet green hills stand in silence.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Noravank Monastery, Areni Armenia
Noravank means “New Monastery” in Armenian. However, today this name does not fit, as the monastery is already more than seven centuries old. The beautiful Noravank Monastery was built in the 13th century on the ledge of narrow winding gorge above the Amaghu River, near the city of Yeghegnadzor.
Pay special attention to the writings and alphabet at Noravank Monastery. The Armenian alphabet was designed so that a single swastika (visible on a khachkar outside Surb Karapet) was a monogram of the alphabet: every letter could be found in its shape.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Wings of Tatev, Halidzor Village, Halidzor Armenia
The culmination of the tour is near the Tatev ropeway, where we will have the opportunity to sit on the two-way world’s longest ropeway in the world. We will approach the Tatev Monastery on the ropeway, where we will walk around the buildings full of architectural solutions and flexible Armenian imagination.
