0900hrs pick up at Arras
Vimy Ridge and the preserved Battlefield- the landscape bears witness to the ferocity of WW1. Tour the trenches and underground tunnels and see the stunning Canadian Memorial to the Missing.
St Vaast German Cemetery- the largest WW1 German cemetery outside Germany with over 44,000 burials.
1230hrs we break for lunch and a chance to explore the Medieval squares in Arras.
At 1345hrs we visit the Carriere Wellington underground quarries and the 1917 attack on the Hindenburg line we follow the Hindenburg line to Bullecourt, the furthest end, here we will see the Battlefield and ‘Outpost Villages’ , the ‘Australian Digger’ and Bullecourt Memorial to the Missing and the Bullecourt Museum-the village Mayors private collection.
