Itinerary

Day 1: JRO - Arusha

Stop At: Arusha Planet Lodge
Today you'll be met upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel located in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Stop At: Arusha National Park, Arusha National Park, Arusha Region
After breakfast, we drive to the nearby Arusha national Park for game drive safari and walking safari. The park is home to species not often encountered in other parks in northern Tanzania, including blue monkey and black-and-white colobus. The park has over 400 different species of birds; and on our walking safari we can see some of them as well as animals like giraffe, zebras and buffaloes.

Day 3: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Today, after breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch; the park is renowned for its large elephant population. We will spend the rest of the day enjoying game drives in Tarangire.
Duration: 7 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast will be provided before leaving Arusha
• Lunch: We will leave Arusha with a picnic lunch box
• Dinner

Day 4: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Highlands (Karatu)

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Another morning game drive in Tarangire. We will then return to the lodge for a hot lunch before proceeding to Ngorongoro Highlands where we will spend the night there.

Day 5: Ngorongoro - Serengeti (Central)

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
Early morning breakfast; then proceed towards Ngorongoro crater; after registration at the Ngorongoro’s gate (which may take about 25mins), we drive for another twenty-five minutes to descend into the Crater for game drives safari exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games. Later in the day we drive to overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Game drives safari in the Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of the large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed. Central Serengeti is beautiful all year around with many residents’ animals in the area.

Day 7: Serengeti - Kilimanjaro International Airport - Departure

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Morning game drive as we drive to a nearby airstrip in that part of Serengeti for a scheduled 10:45AM flight to Kilimanjaro airport (JRO); day room and hot lunch is provided at a nearby Airport Planet Lodge (deluxe room), then later transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your return flight. The airport transfers would be provided by the Lodge.
