Kilimanjaro 5 to 6 Days Trek VIA Marangu Route

Itinerary

Day 1: MARANGU GATE-MANDARA HUT

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up at the hotel after breakfast and drive to Marangu gate. After the registration we will start ascending to Mandara hut it’s about 2700m above the sea level .Which it will take around 3-4 hours of hike through the rain forest. Dinner and overnight in Mandara hut.

Accommodation included: Sleepovers will be at Mandara, this will mainly constitute of huts built at the foot of the mountain.

Day 2: MANDARA - HOROMBO HUT

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
After breakfast we will walk to Horombo hut. Where by its 3720m above the sea level. And it will 5-6 hours on the moorland you will be enjoying the best scenery of the Mountain. You will be able to view both Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.

Day 3: HORORMBO SITE SEEING

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
This day is for acclimatization to Mawenzi and resting day. Dinner and overnight at Horombo

Duration: 8 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at Horombo Camp Site

Day 4: Horombo - Kibo Hut

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up after breakfast and hike to Kibo hut (4750m above the sea level). It will take 5-6 hours. In to the Alpine desert. Dinner and Overnight at Kibo hut.

Duration: 6 hours

Day 5: SUMMIT MIDNIGHT TREK - HOROMBO HUT)

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up will be from Kibo hut in the Midnight, commencement of hike to the summit of Kilimanjaro (5895m above the sea level), where by this will take around 7-8 hours. You will be able to take picture and celebrate then descend to Kibo hut for a short rest. Dinner and overnight at Horombo hut.

Duration: 8 hours

Accommodation included: Short Rest at Kibo Hut and Overnight at Horombo Campsite

Day 6: MARANGU GATE - MOSHI

Pass By: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up after breakfast and start walking down to the park gate. You will catch a waiting car ready to drive you back to the hotel in Moshi.
