About this activity
Day 1:
After breakfast and a short safari briefing, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp.
Day 2:
An early start following breakfast includes a drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Lodge.
Day 3:
Following an early breakfast, depart to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day crater tour. Picnic lunches will be at the Nkoitoktok picnic site. Ascend the crater and drive to Simangori Maasai boma for dinner, traditional Maasai evening activities, and overnight.
Day 4:
An early breakfast will be followed by a tour of Simangori and the surrounding Maasailand. Picnic lunches. Dinner and overnight at the boma.
Day 5:
Following breakfast enjoy a short tour in Maasailand followed by your departure to Arusha via the Snake Park. Picnic lunch en-route, arriving in time for dinner and overnight.

- Safaris are very informal. There is little or no opportunity for fashion while on safari. Even the more luxury hotels allow casual clothing while dining. Depending on your customized itinerary, there may be several opportunities to have your clothes laundered at camps and lodges.
- Clothing can become dusty and dirty depending on which season you travel. It is recommended that you consider brown, tan, light green or khaki colors. Dark colors attract insects. Please leave expensive jewellery at home, and purchase an inexpensive wristwatch to take with you. Put valuables in a safety deposit box at your lodge or camp if there is one available, or carry your valuables with you at all times. Do not bring camouflage clothing that is strictly reserved for the use of local military personnel.
