Take your photography interest to a unique level by camera. Join this stunning 16-day photography tour of New Zealand. Each day there will be a variety of themes for your pictures, for example nature, city, or architecture. Be sure to capture the themes in your beautiful photos of New Zealand.
Day 1: Auckland (D)
After the overnight flight to Auckland the morning will be free for you to recover. We will have a welcome dinner and orientation to the expedition.
Day 2: Auckland (B)
Boat trip to Devonport. Sunset at Muriwai Beach to see a large colony of Gannet birds. At night we will photograph the city lights and the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Day 3: Taupo (B)
Taupo and surrounding regions.
Day 4: Wellington (B)
Taupo then Wellington in the afternoon.
Day 5: Abel Tasman (B)
South Island on a cruise bound for the famous Marlborogh and Blenhein wineries. Our afternoon will be in Abel Tasman Bay and Nelson.
Day 6: Franz Josef (B)
Lake Matheson, Franz Josef and Fox glaciers with a stop in the Punakaiki region.
Day 7: Franz Josef (B)
Free day to sleep in and explore personal interests.
Day 8: Queenstown (B)
Lake Wanaka and Queenstown. Stops along the way by Cardrona and Crown Range Valley, as well as the Kawarau Bungee Jump, also Arrowtown.
Day 9: Queenstown (B)
Glenorchy and the Greenstone region in Mount Aspiring National Park. Queenstown, Lake Hays, Wakatipu and The Remarkables.
Day 10: Milford Sound (B)
There will be many photo stops along the way on the most beautiful highway in the country. In the afternoon we will embark on a cruise that lends itself to stunning images at Mitre Peak.
Day 11: Nugget Point (B)
Nugget Point lighthouse.
Day 12: Moeraki Boulders (B)
Moeraki, Alexandra, and Wanaka.
Day 13: Aoraki Mount Cook (B)
Lindis Pass desert and Lake Pukaki. Mount Cook, Hooker Valley, Aoraki Mount Cook and the famous Good Shepherd church at Lake Tekapo.
Day 14: Aoraki Mount Cook (B)
Free day to sleep in and explore personal interests. Our suggestion is to explore the short walks in the Hooker and Aoraki valleys and Mount Cook. Overnight: Mount Cook
Day 15: Christchurch (B, D)
Early travel to Christchurch. Visit to the central botanical gardens in the afternoon and sightseeing, follow by our farewell dinner. Photo theme: landscape, nature and architecture. Overnight: Christchurch
Day 16: Christchurch (B)
After breakfast, shuttle to the airport and return flight home.
