Full-Day One on One Surf Lesson at Piha Beach from Auckland

The tour will start in Auckland City where you will be picked up from a meeting point you have specified or from your hotel. Your Elements guide will drive you to Piha beach, through the stunning Waitakere Ranges regional park, the largest in Auckland. The drive to Piha takes approximately 45-minutes.

With a stop at Piha's famous lookout point you will be able to take photos and admire the breathtaking destination. Then head down to the beach where you will have a private 2 hour surf lesson with an internationally experienced instructor. You will have a full safety briefing on the beach, learning about the ocean, and then practice surfing technique on the beach.

All gear is included! We ask for your weight and height at the time of booking so that we can match you with the best wetsuit and surfboard for your size. All you need to bring is something to swim in, and a towel. Changing facilities can be found at the beach.

During your lesson, your instructor may have the camera in the water or on the beach to get some photos of your surfing. Please specify at the time of booking if you would be interested in purchasing photos.

You will then have 30 min to soak up the sun on the beach. After a long day of fun we then head back to Auckland City where you will be dropped back to the same meeting point.
