Mark did an amazing job showing us some of the key areas of Austin. He was kind enough to offer ice cream to the group and recommend a few restaurants. I highly recommend this tour and since Mark is from the bay area, we did click so easily...
Bobby was a great tour guide. He was very passionate about the city and his enthusiasm was contagious. This is a good tour to see some key places in Austin and find out where you want to go back to explore further.
Our tour guide, Bobby, was everything you want in a guide. He made us feel welcome and ready to have fun before we left the assembly point. The assembly point at the visitor center was perfect because there is a public garage at the same location. Bobby has an extensive knowledge of Austin and it’s history but he is also very willing to share his recommendations for things like the best breakfast place, the best tacos, the best live music and any other areas of interest to the members of the tour. We saw the sights, laughed a lot and generally had a great time with Bobby. I highly recommend Him and his tour company.
Our host Steve was grest. Fun and informative tour since it was our first time in Austin. You will make stops and take pictures. Manolis ice cream food truck was excellent, recommend the cream pops.
Very nice, enjoyable tour. Our tour guide, Matt, was wonderful. Very informative and excellent sense of humor.
What a great tour guide and funny also! A very good tour I would recommend to others!
Sorry no photos, I'm not that tech savvy.... But this tour was excellent! Steven was very knowledgeable especially about the Capital bldg and entertaining. Fascinating and enjoyable tour. Highly recommend it!!!
On my recent 16-day, five city tour of Texas, including Houston, Galveston, Waco, Austin, and San Antonio, I booked three city tours: Waco, Austin, and San Antonio. Of the three, I have to say that the Austin Detour tour was the weakest. Our tour guide did ok but unlike the other two where I felt both passion and an expertise from the guides that we had, I simply did not feel that with our Austin guide. Austin, on the other hand, was our favorite city.
Great 2 hour tour of the basics. Steven did a great job taking us around and showing us the sites.
It was very informative and Ike the guide was great!!!
