Enthusiastic guide made trip a great experience. The wine tasting was a pleasurable experience. The Roman ruins have to be seen to be believed.
Our guide Melanie was knowledgeable and pleasant and, although the Triumphal Arch and Roman Theatre at Orange were interesting, we would have liked more time tasting more wines. However, we did enjoy the winery presentation and tasting, which was entertaining and informative.
Guide was very knowledgeable. We had a relaxing afternoon with nice drive through the vineyards.
Pleasant half day tour, winery visit particularly enlightening
This was a very good trip. We enjoyed the visit to chateau neuf particularly. Our guide was knowledgeable and able to give lots of information about the area. There were plenty of photo opportunities.
My husband and I really enjoyed trip to the Theatre of Orange and the wine tasting at Chateauneuf du Pape. The wine tasting was very professionally conducted and I felt like I learnt a lot more about wines. However, these are places that are easily accessible by car, so if you are in the mood for driving, there may be no need to sign up for this tour.
