Private Guided Walking Tour in the Hills of Provence

1 day
Private
With guide
By walk
About this activity
You will be picked up at 9am by your guide from your hotel in Avignon. There will be a transfer by private vehicle to the village of Gordes where you will begin the guided walk taking seldom-used paths through shrubs, herbs and sparse trees. The paths will lead you directly to Sénanque Abbey framed by its lavender fields (blooming in June). If you wish you can visit the Abbey (entrance fee 7,50€ pp)

Lunch is not included in the price of the tour so you will need to pack a picnic lunch so that you and your guide can find a secluded spot to eat in the hills far from the tourist crowds. After lunch you will return to Gordes on foot. A return transfer is included to your hotel in Avignon arriving at around 5pm. The fully guided walk is 10km in total and approximately 3 hours of walking time, on easy but rock paths.
