About this activity

Discover the Roman site and historic places in Provence with this half-day tour of Nîmes, Uzès and Pont du Gard.

Nîmes is a great city of arts, proud of its prestigious Roman past, and also looking toward the future. You'll see the antique buildings: Augustus's gate, the amphitheater (entrance ticket and audioguide included).

Uzès is a charming medieval town and the first Duchy of France, set in the garrigues countryside (mediterranean vegetation). As ducal seat, bishopric and consular seat, Uzès has preserved its layout as a medieval stronghold, embellished in the 17th and 18th centuries. See the Place aux Herbes, the episcopal palace, the Ducal Palace, the Fenestrelle Tower (a unique bell-tower) and Saint-Théodorit Cathedral.

End the day with Pont du Gard (entrance included), amazing vestige of a Roman aqueduct protected by the UNESCO.
