Stop At: Fountain Square, Baku Azerbaijan

Any Baku resident will confirm that the most popular places for walking in the capital of Azerbaijan is Nizami Street and Fountain Square.

In the middle of the XIX century due to the favorable location and abundance of shopping benches, the street was called Torgovaya Street. For many decades the residents of Baku continue to refer to the walking segment of the Nizami Street, closed for public transport, as Torgovaya.(from the Fountain Square to Rashid Behbudov Street)

The Fountain Square also has a long history, and in the beginning of the XIX century it was called just a square. After numerous changes in 2010, the area acquired its present appearance.

Particularly, fountains, pavilions and kiosks were originally reconstructed, the available vegetation was preserved and the area of green plantations was increased.

Stop At: Baku Boulevard, Neftchilar avenue, Baku Azerbaijan

Tourists will see the building of the new Carpet Museum, design of which is distinguished by its originality - the museum is built in the form of a folded carpet, walk along the Baku embankment, view the facade of the Government House (former House of Soviets), Philharmonia named after M. Magomaev, the Baku City Hall, will visit the Governor's Garden.

Stop At: Upland Park, Baku Azerbaijan

Memorial Nagorny or Upland Park is located high above the coastal area of Baku. And you can have a wonderful view of the Bay of Baku with Primorsky Boulevard, the old town Icheri Sheher, the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshakh’s Palace.
