With this admission, board a fully enclosed 4-person cabin with large windows so you can enjoy the view on the 8-minute ride. It only gets better as you climb above the treetops to see soaring mountains above and flowing water below. The view that confronts you from the top of Sulphur Mountain is unlike any other in the park, with multiple mountain ranges disappearing toward the horizon and the valley spread out below you. At your leisure, you can stroll along the ridge line boardwalk to a national historic site, pausing for all the photo ops you wish.
Each ride allots one hour and forty minutes at the top before your assigned time to descent back down.

Well organised to get on, it had fantastic view. It snowed while we were there it could not have been any better.
Still had to wait in regular ticket line because there was no bar code on our viator coupon .so it didn't help to purchase ahead of time.

If you travel during winter just know that its a risk in itself with the weather. The day I arrived it was clear but the rest was snowing so it was cloudy. I didnt know I could change my ticket out and go during the clear day and waited for the day of my actual ticket. What a mistake because I couldnt see anything. It was such a waste of money. I dont recommend buying tickets ahead of time if you travel during winter, just wait till you get there. I will make a trip back out to Banff to see and do other things I couldnt do in the winter. I only went in December because a lot of people told me thats the best time to go.
Even though it was a heavily-fogged day, this trip was still amazing and well worth the time! Because it was snowing, the views from the gondola were amazing to a SoCal resident! The center on top was incredible - lots of fine exhibits, a good gift shop, restaurants, viewing decks - had a great time! Highly recommend!
Great ride up and easy to use the voucher. Buses were plentiful to get there snd the view is awesome

FOR VISITORS THAT HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THE Rocky Mountains IN ALL THEIR GLORY, THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT CAN'T BE MISSED. IT WAS VERY WELL ORGANIZED AND EVEN WITH BUS TOURS EVERYTHING MOVED SMOOTHLY. I WOULD SUGGEST BUYING YOUR TICKETS ONLINE BEFORE YOU GET THERE. HOP ON AND ENJOY.
