Great tour! Two beautiful lakes are so worth seeing. Moraine Lake was especially beautiful and climbing the rock pile was well worth the effort. Kyle was a great driver and guide as he shared lots of stories about Alberta and the freeway between Banff and the lakes.
Great background, knowledgeable, patient and very friendly hostess/driver. My family really enjoyed the trip
This is a good intro to the two lakes. Unfortunately, we spent very little time at both lakes and more on the road (it is a distance from point to point). July is peak season so if you don't want to deal with the crowds, go another time. Hike Lake Moriane or rent a canoe (the best). Our tour guide Andrew was great and group size was good.
Fantastic tour and a fantastic guide. I had Gina who was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to provide us with history, facts and information about wildlife in the Banff national park and around the lakes themselves. Great and educational tour. Stunning places to visit. Must see!
Pros and Cons. Cons first. This tour could be improved by paring the Storm Mountain-Bow River part and allowing more time at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. The 25 minutes at Moraine Lake to climb the rock pile and get pictures is impossible for anyone who cannot move really fast. Pros... These two lakes are beautiful and hard to get to for the driving public. Our bus took us right down to Moraine, people were parking for a mile out half on and half off the road. It would have been a scary parking situation and then a long hike to get there. I wasn't sure about reserving this tour but I'm really glad I did.
Great tour!
