This tour will explore historic non-touristy areas of Kuddeejeen and Tha Din-Dang which give you a peaceful walk and an interesting perspective of the city.
Meet your guide at Yodpiman River Walk. After a brief introduction, you will take the public ferry to cross to Thonburi area, the previous capital kingdom of Thailand and start strolling the early 18th century Kalayanimitr Temple where housed the largest Buddha image in the subduing Mara attitude in Bangkok. Walk alongside the river visit ancient Chinese shrines. Stop at Portuguese community sampling their authentic snack and visit mid-17th Portuguese Catholic Church. Continue your walk along the river to explore multicultural communities of Thai, Chinese and Muslims visiting mosques and Chinese shrines to admire those unique architecture buildings
Visit Princess Mother Memorial Park to view the replica home of the royal Princess Mother’s childhood. The park feature gardens, an exhibition halls displaying the history of the Princess and pavilion.
Walk in backstreet alley of Tha Din-Dang Community viewing a peaceful side of local community seeing their actual daily way of life. The tour finishes at Tha Din-Dang market, a market famous for food. Here you can grab some lunch or take the public ferry to cross to Chinatown.
