About this activity

Get picked up from your hotel and depart from Bangkok in the morning and head north to the Nakhon Nayok province. Visit a traditional market to get a local's look into its morning operation, selling local produce and other goods.

Take a trip in an ox cart, a traditional form of transport in Thailand. Travel past rice paddies with views of the mountains, conjuring the vision and spirit of a prior era. Transition rapidly to modern times as you climb onto a quad bike for a motorized ride over varied terrain.

Enjoy a boat trip along Khundan Dam, home to the world's longest hydraulic turret. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious Thai lunch before boarding a whitewater river raft and heading down the Nakhon Nayok River. Visit a popular local spot by the Nangrong Waterfall and enjoy swimming and trekking. At the end of the day, we head back to Bangkok to drop you off at your hotel.

This trip was okay. Most of your day will be spent driving. Lunch was good, the atv ride is very much for beginners, the white water rafting is a slow float. Even the first timer on this trip said wow- this is boring. The guide will ask when you are beginning if you want to get wet or not?What he means is do what him to splash you with his paddle.

The activities were fun and relatively well organized. Lunch was authentic and great! Drawbacks: guide barely spoke any English and due to that provided almost zero information. Also, the minivan was too small for the group and spending 2 hours on the way there ans 3 hours on the way back in it was pretty uncomfortable.

My partner and I had a fabulous day out in Nakhon Nayok! The guide, the driver, and everyone involved were very informative and friendly. My highlight was riding an ox cart and the scenery at the water rafting while my partner loved the ATV and water rafting experience. Such a great gateway from Bangkok. Make sure you bring several of small notes for tips.
