My husband and I booked this shore excursion for Barcelona because it allowed us to see most everything in the small amount of time we had for this cruise port. The tour itself contained about 9 people which was great, but half of the group came from hotels and not from the cruise. That group was late to their meeting point which held the rest of the group up. We stopped in Monteserrat, and yet again the group from hotels were late back to the meeting point. Once we got to Park Guell we had to be rushed because of the extra time we had to wait for the hotel group to get back to the bus and did not get a chance to even go inside a souvenir store. I would advise Viator to create shore excursions just for cruise passengers as we have the time constraint and it was clear that the people who were staying in hotels didn’t care whether or not we got to experience each spot to the fullest. It really could have been great because our tour guide was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. If you are choosing this excursion for your cruise experience I recommend standing up for yourselves when it comes to your time contraindications and seeing everything you want.

My husband and I went on this tour in the pouring rain and the tour guide was wonderful. I would recommend this tour, however if you want to see La Familia Segrada you womt get to do this on this particular tour.

A really good tour. We were not treated well by Holland America as they said we had until 5 pm but after I booked the tour they made us return to the ship by 330 for NO GOOD REASON so we missed Par Guell and inconvenienced the other passengers by having to detour to drop us off at the ship. However the tour to La Familia and Montserrat were well worth the time and money. Highly recommend. Dick c

I could spend the whole day at Montserrat alone! The museum is a hidden wonder. A little bit rushed in Barcelona but was able to do other day trips myself. Very informative. Getting to Montserrat early was a very good idea when you see the traffic trying to get up the hill on your way back down. Loved it
