Very educational and the guide was very informative
Our walking tour was amazing. Angelique was our guide and she did a phenomenal job. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the Gothic Quarters and Sagrada Familia. I would highly recommend the walking tour.
This tour was a wonderful way to become oriented to Barcelona and as a bonus, learn a lot about Spanish and Catalonian history. The tour includes an extensive walking tour of the Gothic Quarter, a bus ride to/through Montjuic and a final stop at the Sagrada Familia, where you gain easy entrance for a self-guided tour at your leisure. Angelique is absolutely delightful and a wealth of information about Barcelona in general, the Gothic Quarter, restaurants in Barceloneta, Antoni Gaudi, etc. You won't be disappointed.
Two days before arriving in Barcelona I remembered that we had not signed up for our ship's inside tour of La Sagrada Familia. YIKES! Unfortunately, both ship's tours were booked. Fortunately I brought with me contact information about other tour companies recommended by Viator...one was Cataluny Tours. So I called them. They were able to arrange for an inside tour of the cathedral along with a 4 hour total walking tour with Angelique. In addition to this being short notice, it was Easter week! Unbelievable! The tour was perfect. Angelique did not stop talking about Barcelona as she took us through the Gothic quarter and much more seeing the white geese. She also recommended a local restaurant for lunch paella and other delicacies, which was a culinary experience. We even had our own van and driver! I cannot say enough good things about the quality of this tour. And it was Angelique's day off!! Be sure and ask for her. Viator, thank you for your recommendations...I really rely on them.
