The worse tour experience ever..!The guide (lack of knowledge) was reading the explanation of the tour all the time. We literally run during the very short visit. Totally disappointing..!!!!
We booked this for my mom’s birthday and it was a complete waste of time. The meeting point only said in front of Hard Rock Cafe. There were other tour companies there. It wasn’t clear which one it is. We had to go through every tour guide just to find the right one. Second the guide didn’t feel genuine. She was not interactive. I don’t even remember her name. It says on the description that it’s a guided walking tour. Yea she only guided us to where we can get a funicular, where the toilets were, and where the meeting point would be. Not a lot of information regarding the monastery. Third, the tour says it lasts for 4 hours. We only spent a little bit over an hour on Montserrat. The rest were travelling time. Obviously, that’s not enough. Also, the guide literally just left us on our own to roam around for an hour. Everything as rushed. The bus was nice and comfortable but that doesn’t make up for the lack of effort and information. The guide also walked too fast knowing that there were elders and little kids. She went down the stairs all of a sudden. The family who brought a stroller had to go around instead. Where was her common sense? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
