My only complaint is that I wish the tour had been longer since it does get a little bit rushed with the limited time. But it does mean that there's still time in the day to see some of Barcelona! The horseback riding was exciting and not too challenging, and set against the most gorgeous backdrop of Monserrat. Then the Monastery was beautiful and the tour guide was knowledgeable about all the sites. It made me want to come back just so I could take my time!
Absolutely loved this tour! Started with a nice AC van ride to Monserrat Monastery. Marc drove us to and from the Monastery. The drive was great filled with nice, interesting conversation. Marc was so nice and knowledgeable. He gave us the history of the Monastery and we took a browse inside which was very nice. After a short Monastery visit, we took a cable car down - allowed for great sights and pictures. We met Albert across the bridge who drove us to Juan's ranch which was 10-15 mins away. Once we go to the ranch, Juan introduced himself. Unfortunately, he injured his knee so he couldn't take us for a ride. His assistant took his place, and she did a great job! The horse I got was the lazy horse since I've only ridden a horse once in my life. The horseback ride was great and leisurely. We were able to see Montserrat from the bottom and took some great pictures. The horses were well behaved and followed one another in a line. Always felt safe and easy enough to take pictures while riding. After the ride, Albert drove us back to the Monastery and Marc drove us back to Barcelona. Albert also had some cool facts to share about Spain. Overall, I learned about during this tour and had so much fun and took so many great pictures! Tours in Barcelona seem to be pretty pricey, but compared to others I think this was well worth it.
My husband loved it and has talked about it ever since our visit to Spain. He really enjoyed both the horse ride and Montserrat with its beautiful views and amazing history. Highly recommended!
