Our guide shared his knowledge of the neighborhood and Picasso's art. We learned quite a bit and were very glad we had booked the tour. I recommend doing it.
Leader was very informed and excellent at conveying the life and influences that impacted Picasso throughout his life. Also memorable to explore some of the gothic areas. The VR was ok, but could be enhanced to provide more than just abloom at the space. Why not introduce people into the spaces carrying on their daily routine??
This is a must tour. It's short and covers the must see locations in old quarter. If you like art you will like the insight of the guide. Even if you don't Picasso's story is interesting. I would suggest reserving the visit for Barcelona Basilica right after since the tour end in front.
The tour itself was interesting . The portions that you use the 3D glasses in our opinion was dumb and not even accurate .
This was a great tour. We loved it. Highly recommend. Perfect amount of time allocated to the Picasso museum and also the gothic tour. Our guide was really knowledgeable and super friendly and organised. Well worth the money and only takes a small part of your day for those who are time poor
The walking tour part was great! Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us some interesting places and architecture off the beaten path in the Gothic Quarter. The only place I felt a little bit rushed was in the Picasso Museum. We had the option to leave the group at the museum and stay longer but Phillip our guide made the walking tour part so interesting we decided to stay with the group.
Traveling through the neighborhoods of Barcelona is so much better when you have the opportunity to learn about its history. Our guide did a great job of sharing information about the city of Barcelona. Upon entering the museum, it was evident that she was also extremely knowledgeable about the life of Picasso and his art.
I was really glad we had a tour guide in the Picasso museum, however, we did not have enough time to adequately view his work and I'm not an art or museum person. The details of the walking tour were lacking in terms of the details and architecture of the neighborhood. Beware this tour also requires headsets to listen to the guide. I just felt it placed us at a disadvantage for pick-pocketing.
This was an excellent 2 1/2 tour that I highly recommend. Our guide Artur was pleasant, funny and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona and Picasso's early works. I learned so much that I didn't know before! Thank you, Artur!
This tour was amazing!
Wonderful snapshot on the history of Barcelona and the gothic area. Artur was a good guide providing interesting commentary and perspective on the evolution of arte modernista and details of Picasso life and influences.
