First of all, you will head to the famous avenue of Ramblas, where you will get introduced by your guide to the local gastronomy, including a stop at a downtown Spanish bar. There, you will have the chance to enjoy a tasty selection of tapas with a drink: local specialities, traditionally consumed by locals.

Our guide was Fiorella and was a font of fascinating, historical and cultural knowledge. We,( my 18 year old daughter and I), wished she could have been with us on our entire vacation. She told fascinating stories and spoke excellent English. The tapas stop was a bar called Craft which was also great! The bartenders/servers were friendly, engaging and genuinely welcoming - they didn’t make you feel like you were bothering them stopping in a tour in their place. They had a reserved table ready in the center of action and we had a variety of tapas to choose from, including vegetarian! We would have been more than satisfied to stop there and stayed but still had the flamenco show. There we were given front row reserved seats and the show gave you a true sense of seeing Cataluyan culture performed beautifully. The artists themselves gave their all to the performances, yet also seemed to be having a good time doing so.Also- everywhere we went, Fiorella was warmly greeted and recognized. She made us feel like VIPs just being w her.

Our tour guide, Eduardo, was excellent. Knowledgeable and very pleasant! He gave us a wonderful tour of Old Town Barcelona as well as tapas and flamenco dance tour.
