This tour was one of the highlights of my trip! Viator contracted with the company Withlocals and my local guide David was absolutely fantastic. He picked us up near my hotel and drove to Penedes, just 40 minutes outside of Barcelona, explaining about the region and wines along the way. His English was great and he was just an overall pleasant person. He had personally chosen two, high quality, small, family owned wineriess: Olivé Batllori, and Eudald. The former was for cava and the latter had organic white, rose, and red wines. We had one tours, explanations, and tastings at both wineries while having time to get to know the owners. Afterwards, we had an amazing tapas lunch at restaurant nearby... so many wonderful dishes. We also had a brief visit to the castle of Subirats since we arrived early to the first winery which allowed us to take some great panoramic photos of the area. The whole experience was very special and personal, one that I will never forget.
