We were very happy that we booked this private tour ahead of time. We had friends on this trip who did not and they could not get tickets. When the Cathedral sells out of tickets, threre is no way to get in and they don't let you line up and wait. We met our guide at the entrance and she had our tickets and we got right in and whe was very knowledgable. So many details that we would have missed if we didnt have her to explain and point out.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking a private tour, otherwise you will miss all the thought that was behind each detail of the church. The outside is spectacular but when you step inside it takes your breath away!
