Sailing Experience from Port Vell in Barcelona with Optional Brunch

About this activity
Start your sailing experience by meeting your professional skipper at the entrance of Port Vell. From here you'll be taken to your boat, walking through the amazing Marina Port Vell where all the luxurious yachts and boats in Barcelona are anchored.
After receiving a security briefing and an explanation of the boat's itinerary your tour will start. Depending on your selected option, your boat will sail through the harbor and a small part of the coast for one-and-a-half hours (harbor with vermouth freeze tour) or throughout Barcelona's coast during two hours (options with light brunch and merienda). Both itineraries will allow you to have a glimpse of the city's major points of interest such as Columbus Monument or Sagrada Familia from the sea. If the weather conditions are good, you will be able to take a dip in the warm Mediterranean sea (option with light brunch and merienda only), and then a refreshment will be served before going back to the Marina.
During the itinerary, you can learn a bit about sailing, or just relax sunbathing on the deck of the boat as you admire the city views. Once the tour has finished, the boat will take you back to Port Vell where your sailing experience finishes.
Light Brunch:
- 09:30 am for 2hours from 59euros.
Vermuth:
- 09:30am for 1h3o from 39euros
- 12pm for 1h30 from 39 euros
- 2:30pm for 1h30 from 39 euros.
- 4:30pm fro 1h30 from 39 euros ( april to september)
Merienda:
3:30pm or 4:30pm ( according the season) for 2hours from 59euros.

Not the fault of the skipper. It was the lack of wind that made the trip a drag. The boat departed from Port Vell. Let me just say that the sailing was not even close to the experience I had imagined. The wind was so light that sailing turned into bobbing up and down in the water with people getting seasick. Some were two-seconds away from tossing their cookies. Meanwhile I ate the fruit and pastries the captain provided, as I suffered no ill effects myself, other than the incredible disappointment of not having a Mediterranean breeze blowing briskly through my hair. It just wasnt happeningmajor sigh! Honestly, we couldnt get back to port quickly enough for my daughter's sake. We finally convinced her to take an anti-nausea pill and by the time we made land, she was doing much better and ready for some family beach time at Barceloneta Beach. We rented our umbrellas and headed for the water. Now, that was great!
A Nice climate to sail away from the busy crowds but unfortunately not a climate November to take a dive. Our skipper was so friendly and was cool the whole time.... Since I was the only solo traveller besides three just married couples it was weird to be there but somehow the skipper came to rescue ... It was a lovely sunset and would have been better to enjoy with your best pal.
Would probably do this again but with a group of people. I ended up being the only person on the tour that morning which was fine but also slightly awkward at the beginning. There should be a way to see or tell if you’re the only one who has purchased a tour lol. Otherwise, a lovely morning sailing.
Martin was awesome yesterday. We had such a great day and managed to swim in Mediterranean sea. Would come back for this trip
Short sail through the yacht harbor, out to sea past the breakwater. Great to gain a different perspective of Barcelona from the sea. Boat was solid and yummy snacks, beer and sangria. Wished the captain had used the head sail used only the main, so not totally sailing. But otherwise really worth the effort, highly recommend.
