About this activity
Visit: Casa Mila - La Pedrera, Passeig de Gracia, 92, 08008 Barcelona Spain
Start your experience at the modernist masterpiece of La Pedrera to embark on this 1.5-hour guide tour. Use your priority access ticket to sail past long lines in the crowed entrance foyer of the UNESCO-listed landmark.
After greeting your guide and small group, you'll start exploring the building in relative solitude. Stroll thorough a richly decorated lobby and extensive courtyards embellished in typical Gaudi style; capture tourist-free photographs of kaleidoscopic murals and mosaics, and then explore the Exhibition Hall to see impressive stair columns. Enter the apartment to see an accurate recreation of a bourgeois apartment in the building during the 20th century.
Rise to the roof terrace to observe the jewel in the building's architectural crown, its imitable corkscrew chimneys, and then absorb panoramic vistas of Barcelona’s skyline before descending to the Espau Gaudi to peruse an exhibition detailing the architect’s life and works.
After 1.5 hours, your tour concludes with a coffee or drink in Cafe de la Perdera.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us just the right amount of info. We thought it was an excellent tour and well worth visiting!
I loved this early access concept. We were the only ones touring La Pedrera and got to feel the serenity and beauty of the house. It felt as if we were in the forest, as Gaudi brought nature into the courtyard, and up onto the roof. Being able to take pictures on the rooftop, for a good 15 minutes before the tour buses arrived, was wonderful. Walking through the different apartments took us back in time and showed us what it must have felt living inside a beautiful art piece.
Well worth the early start to do this tour - no-one else around and we had special access to the roof and saw the sun rise over Barcelona. Walking through one of the apartments was a big plus. The tour was comprehensive and our guide was excellent.
It was a wonderful experience to tour this site in a small group before Casa Mila opened to other tourists.
