Day 1: Beijing - Jinan (L)
Your driver will take you from Beijing city hotels lobby to the Beijing South Railway Station. Take the morning train to Jinan (about 2 hours). Upon arrival, meet your friendly local tour guide, you will be transferred to Baotu Spring directly.
According to experts' research, Baotu Spring has a history of 3,543 years, dating back to the Shang Dynasty (16th –11th BC). The spring retains its temperature at 18 degree Celsius (64.4 degree Fahrenheit) all year round. Stroll around the pavilions and courtyards in the park, listen as your knowledgeable guide offers an interesting introduction to the park’s history.
Move on to Furong Ancient Street where merchants have conducted business for over 2,000 years.There was a broad mix of shops and eateries. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the nearby restaurant.
Next, heading to Daming Lake. Daming Lake is a large natural lake formed from a number of springs. The lake is surrounded by a park with an ensemble of historical buildings, including pavilions, temples, gardens, bridges, etc. Over the centuries, Daming Lake has inspired many poets, painters, calligraphers, and scholars. Spend some leisure time here to enjoy the peaceful park.

Day 2: Jinan - Qufu - Beijing (B)
Your tour guide will pick you up from your Jinan Hotel's lobby, then take a 40 minutes bullet train ride to Qufu.
Your first stop is the Temple of Confucius which was first built in 478BC to commemorate Confucius. The temple has been reconstructed over the centuries. More than 300 buildings erected through the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Stroll around the halls and courtyards with your tour guide, learn about the symbolic significance of the architecture, admire the statue of Confucius, pay a visit to the stone tablets, steles and pavilions, discover Confucius' life experience, and many other historic and cultural items related to Confucius and Confucius culture.
Then, walk through the small market continue to explore the Kong Family Mansion.The descendants of Confucius live here and they were in charge of conducting elaborate religious ceremonies on occasions such as plantings, harvests, honoring the dead, and birthdays.
After lunch, you will visit the Confucian Cemetery which served as the family graveyard of Confucius and his descendants for more than two thousand years. It is the largest, oldest, and best-preserved single-family cemetery in China.
Finally, your tour guide will take you to Qufu Railway Station for your train back to Beijing (approx. 2.5 hours). Once arrives, your driver will pick you up at Beijing South Railway Station and transfer you back to your hotel in Beijing City. (Booked on your own)
