About this activity
After meeting your tour guide at 5pm, you will travel by private vehicle to start your real life Beijing experience.
Your tour will start with a Peking Duck dinner at a local restaurant.
Peking Duck is originally from Beijing, which is the capital of Mainland China. It is prepared with a kind of fruit tree, so it has a fruity flavor. Its skin is very crispy. You also eat it in a very special way. First you need to use a special bread. Then you can start your tasty meal. Usually, you cannot finish a whole Peking Duck, so you can make soup with the leftovers. The duck is divided into three parts and made in three different ways:The first way is the most popular one. The meat is selected from the best part of the duck and is boned. Green onions and dressing are added to make it savory and a little sweet. It is served with thin crepes. You just spread the dressing on the crepe, add some green onions, and roll it up. The second way is to use the part of the duck with less meat. It can be fried with garlic, chilies, ginger or onions. A third way allows you to make use of the entire duck. You can make soup with cabbage and the duck meat with bones.
Don’t worry about what to order and how — your guide will provide tips.
Then heading to the Chaoyang Theater to enjoy the amazing acrobatic show, marvel at the fascinating flexibility of the gymnasts and acrobats.
Return back to your vehicle, and ride back to the hotel after the tour.

This is a tour everyone should take. The Acrobatic Show was a delight -- just really wonderful to see. Our guide Lucy was funny, warm and really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. We appreciated the local restaurant even though the service was not great. Lucy made up for the slow service though. She stayed on top of the staff throughout the whole meal. Lucy's English was great.
Great show. The only reason why it did not receive 5 stars is that the theater the show was presented in was a little run down and shabby.
Our guide was so sweet, the show was really good but the theater was pretty run down. The Peking duck dinner was delicious. We are very glad we did this tour!
We really enjoyed this tour! The show was a fairly standard tourist attraction, and the acrobats were good. The dinner was the highlight of the evening! I have never tasted anything so delicious! Our guide was so great to share her knowledge of the traditional Peking duck dinner and she was a wonderful conversationalist as well!
This experience was very good. The show was similar to what you would expect at a Las Vegas venue. The food at the restaurant was more than enough for my family and priced fairly. The restaurant was packed with locals which is always a good sign. There was some trouble getting into the restaurant because the show times were changed and the dinner reservation was made before the show changes but our guide managed everything and it was a wonderful evening. food selection was very good.
