The guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby at the planning time in the morning, drive to Lama Temple first. It is the most celebrated Buddhist temple in Beijing and one of the largest and most influential temples in China, it became a lamasery in 1744 and is home to stunning Buddha sculptures, including one sculpture carved from a single piece of sandalwood that stands 18 meters above ground.
Next to it, there is located the Guozijian and Confucius Temple. One was the ancient university complex that trained the scholar-officials who ran imperial China and the other one was a place to worship and consecrate Confucius, a great philosopher and educator of ancient China.
Afterward to White Cloud Temple, it is one of "The Three Great Ancestral Courts" of the Quanzhen School of Daoism, and is titled "The First Temple under Heaven”, first founded in the mid-8th century during the Tang dynasty and the existing one was rebuilt for the Ming and Qing Dynasties Every year on the 19th day of the first lunar month a festival is held at the abbey in celebration of Qiu Chuji's birthday. It was thought that Qiu would return to earth as an immortal on this day
