The Temple of Heaven is a massive temple complex featuring a series of Taoist building, that was often visited by Ming and Qing emperors. This UNESCO site contains the famous Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

Stop At: Qianmen Main Street Mall, Qianmen Main Street, Beijing China

Qianmen Street, initially built in Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). The street was dotted with guild halls built by different localities, to provide housing to citizens from other parts of China intending to take the imperial exams. The present Qianmen Street has been rebuilt on the historical photos and the mould of the 1920s to 1930s, now is the most famous pedestrian street of Beijing.

Tiananmen Square which is one of the largest squares in the world and the centre of Beijing city. It holds several tourist attractions like the Tiananmen Tower, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. It is an emblematic spot in China, and also the main access to the Forbidden City.

Forbidden City was the Imperial residence during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and supposedly contains 9999.5 rooms, because only heaven could have 10,000 rooms.

Drum Tower, located next to the Bell Tower. These ancient monuments used to dominate Beijing's ancient skyline.
