About this activity

You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing between 7:00am and 8:00am. After one and half hour drive, Great Wall at Mutianyu will be in front of you. The Mutianyu Great Wall is connected with Jiankou in the West and Gubeikou Great Wall in the east. It's one of the best-preserved and best-known sections. This part has also been renovated, making it easier and safer to climb. Moreover, it is equipped with cableway and slideway, this will be easier for seniors or children to make a visit.

After 3 hours hiking, you will have an authentic Chinese lunch in a local restaurant.

Then, you will head to watch an acrobatic show, balancing acts and other demonstrations of physical skill traditionally performed by a troupe in China. Acrobatics are a form of art extracted from skills in daily life, work and martial arts. In the early stages of the development of Chinese art, the acrobatic art was not separated from music and dance. In the Han Dynasty, acrobatics enjoyed booming development. Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty loved the art very much and would hold grand shows featuring acrobatics, music and dance.

At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.

Amazing sight but coach staff left us at theatre with some money to get a taxi back to the hotel

A big tour, we missed the personal attention and the guide didn't talk much along the way, providing historical information. But The Great Wall is simply impressive.
