Meet your driver at the lobby of your hotel in Beijing city centre and be transferred to Beijing airport to take your flight to Shanghai.
When you arrive at Shanghai airport, you will meet your guide at the arrivals hall holding a board with your name. Then you will be ready to start this exciting tour in Shanghai.
First you will visit Yuyuan Gardens, which used to be a wealthy Chinese family’s traditional private garden in the Ming & Qing Dynasties over 400 years ago. The name of the garden can be translated as the Garden of Happiness from Shanghainese, and is the city’s most famous traditional garden.
After exploring the Yuyuan Garden, you will spend some time wandering through the markets and bazaars of Shanghai’s Old Town. This is the perfect opportunity to get souvenir shopping done while soaking up the atmosphere of old Shanghai.

Stop At: Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), No. 1 Century Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai 200120 China
You will visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, from where you can get amazing views of Shanghai. This 468 meters (1,536 feet) high tower is the world's third tallest TV and radio tower.
After the Tower, you will have a traditional noodle dish for lunch, followed by a walk along the wide boulevard of the Bund, lined with impressive neo-classical buildings, dating back to Shanghai’s grandest days.

Stop At: Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, No.36 Meizhou Road, Qingpu District Zhujiajiao Town, Shanghai 201713 China
Then you will go to visit Zhujiajiao Water Town, an ancient water village in Qingpu District of Shanghai. It is an ancient town that was built on the bank of Dianshan Lake and at the foot of Dianshan Hill within a beautiful scenic area. The village boasts 36 stone bridges and numerous rivers, with many ancient buildings lining the riverbanks. There is also a cute little temple called Yuanjin Buddhist Temple that with the Kezhi Garden worth a visit.
Following your visit to the water village, you will have time to wander along the market street past the shops back to the village entrance. With hundreds of small shop fronts selling local foods, arts and crafts, silk products and pearls, this makes for a complete experience, in all senses of the word. It is also the perfect time to get some souvenirs for friends and family back home.
You will then be transferred to the Shanghai airport to take the flight back to Beijing. A driver will pick you up at the arrivals hall of the airport holding a board with your name and you will be transferred to your hotel in Beijing city center.
