The tour guide will pick you up from your Beijing downtown hotel lobby between 6:30 am - 8:00 am, get in a comfortable coach to start the full-day Beijing trip. After approx. 1 hour driving, you will firstly come to the Ming Tombs Scenic Area, where lie the mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). There you will visit Changling Tomb built in 1409, it is the largest, original and the best preserved among the 13 Ming Tombs. Then you will visit a jade carving factory to see the unique carving craft and do some shopping.
After having a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch in local restaurant, continue to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the highlight of this trip. Badaling Great Wall is the best-preserved and most complete section among the various, hence the most popular, even among world leaders. Hike up on foot or take cable car (at your own expense) up to the Great Wall, walk along the ancient bricks, experience its deep-rooted culture and discover its profound history. On the way back, stop at a tea house to enjoy the tea ceremony and learn Chinese traditional tea culture. When the tour concludes, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
