Your guide will pick you up between 06:50am to 8am from below 4 centrally located meeting points:
• 06:50am: Please meet at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing
• 7:30am:Holiday Inn Express Dongzhimen
• 7:35am: Please meet at the Macdonald's outside the Exit C of Dongzhimen Subway Station
• 8:00am: Please meet at The Great Wall Sheraton HotelHead to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall was first built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, which is much earlier than the Badaling section.

You will arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall around 9:30am. The round-trip hike is about 3.72823 miles (6 km) and takes about 3 hours to complete. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section was used to serve as the northern barrier, which defended the capital and the imperial tombs. It’s known for its beautiful surroundings which includes dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of a year.

Hiking will end around 1:30pm. Your lunch will be served in a Chinese restaurant near by the Great Wall and then you will return downtown and be dropped off along the subway station.

I found this last minute on the day before the tour itself. Value for the service is great, for the transport, guide and lunch. Don't expect a Michelin stars one but it was decent after the walk. guideNancy was really helpful and spent as much time needed with everyone who needed help. Only one star missing for the information about the wall which was shared but could be more to understand the history behind this great place
