We will arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall about 9:30, which appraised as the World Best of Beijing Tourism in 1992. You will have 30 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory which is belong to the scenic spot. There you will visit the famous special Chinese Jade carving craft and the Jade Carving Factory, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

Tiananmen Square – Built under the guidance of Chairman Mao Zedong, Tiananmen Square is one of the largest public squares in the world, said to hold a capacity crowd of over one million. It houses not only the Monument to the People’s Heroes, it is also the final resting place of Chairman Mao himself in the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.

Forbidden City – The sacred centre of the Chinese empire for 500 years and home to the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Forbidden City is a vast complex of over 900 buildings and covers an area of 180 acres. Since 1987, the Forbidden City has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its palatial architectural style has been an influence on many imperial buildings throughout Asia.

The Great Wall portion was great, but the rest was only so-so. We ended up at the Ming Tombs instead of the Forbidden City and it was a let down. We wasted a lot of time at tourist traps a tea place and jade factory when we should have been moving towards the Forbidden City.
