Visit Jiankou: the King of the Wild Great Wall

8:30-9:00

We will pick you up at Dongzhimen Subway Station at 9 am. During the 2 hours' drive, our hike leader will introduce some useful hiking tips and show how to use hiking equiment. We will arrive at Jiushuikeng Village at 11 am, where we will do some warm-ups and start the hike.

11:00-12:30

After about 1 hours' hiking, we arrive at a famous pass in Jiankou Great Wall, Jiangjunshouguan pass, where everyone can have lunch prepared by us. Everyone can have a chat and get to know one another.

12:30-16:30

After lunch, we will continue our hike and will pass by North Beacon Tower, Thirty-eight Steep Stairs, Sky Ladder and Flying Eagle, which are all very famous scenic spots of Jiankou Great Wall. FYI, the "Sky Stairs" has a precipitous stair whose angle of elevation is 70 to 80 degrees. The stairs are so narrow that it is barely possible to obtain a foothold. ( Of course, this section of the route is optional. If you want to go there, you can go with hike leader to The watch tower “Flying Eagle”. Other members can have a rest and enjoy afternoon tea.) The scenery on the top of Jiankou Great Wall is a feast for your eye. You will totally forget all your worries and be amazed by this natural wonder.

17:00-19:00

After the pleasant trip, we will head back to Beijing and finish the journey.
