Watch Illuminated Simatai Great Wall Combined with Stars at Gubei Watertown

Pick up at 13:00 and drive about 2 hours to Gubei Water Town. It is an architectural replica of Wuzhen in Zhejiang province, one of China’s most famous water towns. Composed of picturesque canals, bridges, courtyard houses, shops, and hotels, all backed by mountains and Simatai Great Wall.

Guide will help you check in tent first; then enjoy a walking tour around the Watertown. Follow your guide around the highlights and as the sun sets, sit down to a delicious dinner at a charming restaurant where you could see the Wall. Duly refreshed, ride the cable car up to the Simatai Great Wall: the only part of the UNESCO-listed structure open to visitors at night, and beautifully illuminated from dusk onward. Admire the lit-up ramparts tracing the steep spine of the mountains from your cable car, and then walk along the battlements.

Descend by cable car to explore more of the illuminated Watertown; like walking around the snack street, watching the Water and Music Show as well as Kongming Lantern flying. Then guide will take you back the tent after watching stars combined with Great Wall.

Your guide will pick you up again next day, either taking part in some DIY handicrafts like Batik, Paper-Cut, Shadow Leather, lantern and kite making first; or just drive back Beijing directly.
