We docked on our cruse ship at Belfast and used the ships shuttle bus into Belfast City centre on 10/9/19. We then caught the hop on bus which gave us an interesting tour around the city with a very good commentary. We got off at the Titanic museum which was a fantastic history of the Titanic, the ticket for my wife and I was very good value.
This was an excellent tour and our guide and speaker was so very good. We gained such an understanding of the area, Belfast and the troubles, and the Titanic museum was good also.
Booking the combined ticket for the Titanic eperience and the Hop on / Hop off bus was useful. However Viator did not supply the actual tickets and we were meant to visit the Belfast information office to collect the tickets. However we contacted the ticket office who emailed the tickets to us. Why could Viator not do the same? and save us the extra hassel of having to personally go to the office. Also the tickets supplied indicated a differenet start point than Viators confirmation !!. It begs the question as to is it better to book the tickets directly rather than through Viator. The experience was excellent and the Hop on/Hop off bus was unfortunately spoilt somewhat by the weather. Also Viator does not supply a route map with bus stop points which makes planning the route more difficult. Again is it better to book directly?
This is a great way to travel around Belfast.......drops you at all the right places! The Titanic exhibition is a must see.......not to he missed
Went everywhere we wanted to go on an acceptable schedule. The guides appeared knowledgeable and entertaining.
Happy Ireland trip had such a good time such a good idea buying your 2 day ticket for the hop on bus we loved it we went to the titanic experience, stormont, crumlin road prison it was all so good with the best weather
Slow to get ticket even though we had a pre-purchased ticket online. An amazing exhibition. Located near shuttle bus stop. Very clean amenities, cafe and shop. The whole attraction was sensational.
Anyone visiting Belfast has to buy this combo ticket, the bus route goes to all the main places of interest, very interesting to compare the murals on the Falls road to the Shankhill road, the Titanic museum takes at least 2 hours to see everything, very informative and moving.
Very nice place to visit in Belfast. We also enjoyed the bus tour.
Bus was great, enjoyed the live commentary, all guides were interesting and knowledgeable. Titanic was OK, perhaps a bit crowded, but interesting.
Sorry When we were going off the boat I got very ill. and I mean real bad so I could not go and my wife did not want to go alone. Back to cabin and into bed. I really wanted to go on this tour as we have taken Viator's tours before and they have always been great. I will be back and I'll go on this tour. I am sorry we missed it.
This is by best of all the Titanic exhibits we're seen. It is perfect for all ages and interests and immerses you from the beginning to the end of this historic ship. One feels the humanity involved in the construction and the loss of lives.
Tour of the Titanic Exhibit was enlightening. Gave an in depth description of how the ship was constructed as well as what the shipbuilding industry meant to Belfast. Allow plenty of time to tour this fantastic exhibit. The hop on hop off bus route makes a stop at the Titanic exhibit. We used the bus to get around the many historical sites of Belfast. Took the bus to Stormont, the peace wall, murals, and Crumlin Rd jail. A wonderful way to see the city.
The Hop-On-Off bus tour was excellent. It provided a great oversight of the area with great information and history with a touch of Irish humor. We highly recommend it. The only recommendation would be more buses to shorten the time between them. We often waited over 30 minutes for the next bus. Other than that, an excellent way to see Belfast. The Titanic information center was a great experience as well. It is not what most expect, thinking it to be a museum of artifacts and such, but for what it was intended, a great experience.
The biggest problem was trying to find the stop signs to board the bus. Also the buses were very untimely. We waited 45mins. After we had walked for about 20 mins. trying to find out what bus stop we should be at. Eventually gave up and got a City bus. There are no signs to show which bus stops are for the HopOnHopOff bus. When leaving the Titanic Exhibit we had to ask at least people where to find this bus and even then ended up at the wrong sightseeing bus tour. Would not recommend this tour and would not do it again. To be fair, the driver and tour guide were excellent when we were on the bus.
This is a fab. tour. One could spend a whole day there. There is so much to see and do. It is a trip well worth doing and great value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
