A good slice of Northern Irelands premier attractions. This includes hotel pickup (but not drop off- this is in town) and entrance to Giants Causeway Visitor centre (audio Guide) and The Carrick Rope Bridge. The Dunluce and Carrickferus castles are both photo stop only. Lunch stop at Bushmills Whiskey Distillery, would be nice if long enough to complete tour however not enough time for this allowed. Overall a good day out, our Driver/Guide Frank was very amusing
Great day trip! Frank was great and gave us lots of information on the bus. We also had plenty of time at both attractions to walk around and see everything.
Did the Premium Giant's Causeway Day Tour from Belfast, hich was fabulous the day was full with relatively little time just travelling scenary was spectacular. Our coach driver/tour guide Steven was informative with a great sense of humour. Would recommend this day trip
Great day travelled from Belfast city centre to Giants Causeway then the rope bridge. Driver Stephen was great gave loads of info on history and was good fun. Even though the weather was very wet it did not spoil the day.
Really enjoyed this trip. The bus was very comfortable. The tour guide was great. The scenery was terrific even though it poured rain on us while walking down and back from the Giant's Causeway. Enjoyed Carrick-a-Rede and all the other sites. It was a jam packed day and for anyone staying in Belfast longer, they could go to one site for a more in depth visit. Stopped in Bushmills for whiskey tasting and lunch. Recommend bringing your own lunch because there is no time to find a restaurant/pub, order lunch and eat, let alone try to taste whiskey or peruse the gift shop.
We had a fantastic day touring Giants Causeway, the rope bridge, Bushmills distillery and the Causeway Costal Route. Steven was an amazing driver sharing stories of the area and Northern Ireland’s history. We traveled with extended family, all 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 16, 13 and 9) had an amazing day. This was a true highlight of our UK adventure!!
The itinerary, commentary and transportation were worth way more than we paid. Large coach but comfortable. We saw so much of Northern Ireland in a day. It was great and Stephen was so courteous and caring. Funny too. The Giants Causeway is fantastic and the views at the rope bridge took our breath away. Although lunch at the distillery is not a great experience, the food was pretty good and not over-priced; kind of a cafeteria really. Whiskey tasting (3 for £10) was well worth it even though we didn’t think the whiskey was great. Loved the Antrim coast drive and even stopped for ice cream! Highly recommend!
Steven, our guide, was also our driver and was able to multitask brilliantly. I was sat at the front of the coach and felt very safe in his hands - even when talking to the group his driving was excellent. We had a full two hours at the Giant's Causeway and plenty of time at the rope bridge. He made sure that we stayed ahead of the crowds where possible! This meant that when we stopped for lunch at the Bushmills Distillery, we were served quickly and had spare time to wander around the town afterwards.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! The scenery was beautiful and the commentary was interesting and informative.
A good tour, not too rushed, plenty of time at the different stops. Guide and driver were very friendly and full of information and chat.
We missed it and went the agents's office, but the agent (Irish Tour Tickets) over there even didn't offer us any Hop On Hop Off or city tour despite our request to accommodate us in any other smaller tour e.g. Titanic tour. It was upsetting and frustrating as we always book many tours with your company, VIATOR, whenever we visit different cities in other countries
It was a fab tour. The guide Gavin was brill. Only downfall was it was all a bit rushed. We never dilly dallied anywhere but had to rush to get back to the coach. Gavin explained because it was a winter tour. But we would have left out the 2 castle photo opportunities. Would advise if only at Giants Causeway to get the coach down. We were the fitter of the group but still took a while to walk down. Views were great from up above but hardly had any time once on the causeway itself. Rope bridge great too, but would have forgot about the whiskey tour and spent bit more time leisurely walking back to the coach instead of rushing. Was a fab trip for the money even though rushed
A brilliant tour. A must if you are visiting Belfast. The Giants Causeway is breathtaking. There a different routes depending on your preference. There is a bus about £1 to take if you don't or can't manage the walk up and down. The Rope Bridge was another highlight. I loved it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and witty. I thought it was very good value.
This was a great day tour of Antrim Coast. We were picked up near our hotel for free and shuttled to the ticket office to board the big bus. The tour left on time and headed up the highway the opposited direction from all the other big tour buses. We had a solid two hours at the Giant's Causeway and it wasn't crowded with other tours. Dave and Brian our guides were excellent. We stopped for a lunch break at Bushmill Distillery and then on to the Rope Bridge. Just an excellent day. I would highly recommend this tour.
It was a great daytrip to the Giant's Causeway and other beautiful sights in Northern Ireland. Would highly recommend.
Great tour- very informational and with a great amount of information about Northern Ireland- Wish I had another 1-2 hours at the Giant's Causeway to explore more- such a huge place- definitely want to go back to explore more! Perfect amount of time spent at the Rope Bridge
Giants causeway and robe bridge were breathtaking. Would recommend this tour.
Giant's Causeway was worth seeing and sufficient time was provided. Even though the driver had checked at the beginning on how many people wanted to do the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge it is an extra charge when we got there he was unable to secure enough tickets for everyone, so 7 people had to back out. The driver pictured himself as a witty comedian and this grew very tiresome. We were told we would be back to Belfast by 6 PM but didn't get back till almost 7, partially because we had to wait for 25 minutes for a group who had left the bus for a walking tour. All in all, too long a day for our liking.
